Sun Mountain Sports, a sports product supplier based on Missoula - Montana recently got a sudden hype of media coverage and thousands of searches across the web. Sadly though, this is not because their products are finally getting more recognized. The searches are brought about by a recent happening that posed quite the disappointment towards the brand.
The rain gear that was provided by Sun Mountain for the 2010 US Ryder Cup was a complete failure. This has been the verdict of many as the gears they provided didn't seem to work. Some team member's got their gears damaged because the stuff provided seemingly had holes in them resulting to further damage and annoyance to the members. It was an utter and complete failure. In the end, teams had to discard and literally trash the faulty Sun Mountain rain gear suits and buy replacement actually working rain suits.
The company officials made a public apology and said that their ‘experts’ are working to resolve the issue. Sun Mountain Sports’ officials also said that they’ve been in the business of catering to sports enthusiasts for over two decades.
I personally do not have something against sun mountain sports but honestly, I think they might want to change their methods or their name after this shameful incident. Let's all just hope them the best and that they develop their sports gears to actually cater to sports enthusiasts.

Texas Ou Game 2010 : Oklahoma got a very impressive 28-20 win. Pitted against the Texas Longhorns, they were able to dominate the first half of the game with their solid defenses that stayed throughout the game. Texas though was able to keep the game very tight and within striking distance as a 60 yard run was completed by DJ Monroe and they held Oklahoma with only two touchdowns at the half. All through out the game though, Oklahoma played calmly and tenaciously putting up great defenses and maintaining a constant threat to the opponent with their great offensive executions.
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops believes winning the Big 12 Conference is much more important than beating Texas. In an interview Stoops said "This is a special game to win. It is always a big deal." "It put us at 5-0 and a conference victory."
Oklahoma sure is a team to beat right now as they aim for the top and they asserted their dominance for everyone to see. Learning to run with the lead, instead of nursing it, will be the major factor for the remainder of the season for Ou while Texas will have to do better and rely on big plays and turnovers if they want to continue further.
Oklahoma will have two difficult match ups for the coming month as they will have to face Missouri and Texas A&M. Texas on the other hand will be meeting Nebraska on the 16th.
